| Spain is not the first place you think of when planning a ski vacation but there are many ski areas located throughout Spain. Probably the most visited are the Ski areas in the Pyrenees which borders France. There is a Ski resort in each area: Cantabria, Galacia and Leon. There is an area in the “La Rioja” region, and a couple more down south in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. You could have a great vacation mix of sport, culture and of course, fabulous cuisine. |  |
 | Cheese Tip: our favorite gourmet cheese shop suggests not to wrap cheese in plastic but to allow the cheese to breath by wrapping it in cheese paper, aluminum foil or wax paper. They also suggest buying small amounts that last for about a week to keep the quality of the cheese at it’s peak.
